Southwest Truck Insurance Agency, Inc., was started January 1, 1986, with J.T. Phillips as President and Ken Nichols as Vice President and sole stockholder (inactive). Mr. Phillips built the agency over a two year span; setting up the office staff with an Office Manager and Client Service Representative. On January 1, 1988, the agency was purchased from Mr. Nichols by J. T. Phillips.

On March 15, 1988, Joe Phillips joined the agency as Vice President and continues as President and Chief Executive Officer at the present date.

On January 1, 1993, John Phillips, Executive Vice President, joined the agency to enhance market penetration.

On June 1, 2001 Debra Dralle joined the agency as Vice President - Sales after a fifteen-year tenure with Associates Insurance Company.
